| Cheap PDU Patrol
Let’s face it, normally getting your PDUs for certification or recertification can be expensive. I’ve had a lot of people tell me of their concerns on the cost involved in acquiring and maintaining certification. Besides that, look at the economy, with gas prices on the rise, property taxes and insurance going up, some companies and departments are cutting back on their training budgets, which puts that much more pressure on all of us that are trying to maintain our professional currency.
Howe can we help? This is our first monthly Cheap PDU Patrol. This is our attempt to assist our members in finding ways to complete their education requirements without spending a fortune. This month we have two good places that will more than attain your PDU requirements:
First, did you see the Velociteach handout in this month’s PMI mailing? There’s a couple of on-line training opportunities to pick up PDUs at minimal cost:

They have over 50 archived webinars free for members and over 80 live seminars lined up for the coming year. All webinars are 1 PDU. That’s 15 cents per PDU. You definitely can’t beat that, and that’s not all the benefits you get, so this place has a definite high ROI.
