PMI Space Coast Florida Member Spotlight

"Alexander M. Sadowski, PMP, is a Program Manager with the Government
Communications Systems Division of Harris Corporation. He manages projects
that involve products and systems that provide assured communications to a
wide variety of customers. He represents Program Management on the Division
Process Group (DPG), represents the DPG Configuration Control Board on the
Program Management Executive Council, and teaches modules in the Harris Program
Management Workshop and mentors new Program Managers and Project Engineers.
He joined the Project Management Institute because he recognized the need to
be an active part of an organization of fellow professionals in project
management. A global organization such as PMI provides the diversity that
allows for a fresh look at common problems, and the awareness there are
those who have come up with novel approaches to what may have seemed to be
insolvable problems. It is nice to know that we are not alone in the
problems and opportunities that we all face. Alex has found that the PMI
Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) is an excellent reference and
guide in matters of Project Management. Also, he strongly believes that
Project Managers need to develop strong communication skills, develop an
acute awareness of the environment they work in, and develop sensitivity to
all their stakeholders. To be a real success, he is convinced that a Project
Manager must be an effective coordinator and efficient facilitator. Alex is
proud to be a member of the dynamic PMI Space Coast Chapter. He really
appreciates that the local Space Coast Chapter provides an ideal opportunity
for all of us to meet in a warm, friendly, inviting environment, with like
minded individuals from various organizations working in a wide variety of
fields."
