This month we will hear from William Deal, PMP, as he shares "Using Mind-Mapping Tools for WBS Development"
A Quick review of developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) using mind mapping Tools. This includes the ease in developing and modifying the WBS and viewing as a Gantt chart. In some tools (such as MindView) the WBS can be exported in XML and then imported back into your PPM systems or Microsoft Project. Mind Mapping is a great way to organize requirement elicitation and for helping organize many work processes.
This event will be a great opportunity to meet new board members as well as other chapter members.

20+ Years’ experience in portfolio, program, and project management. Currently, a consultant with Momentum Consulting Corp. in Miami providing advanced project management support for large and complex projects. Enterprise Architecture experience is based on a contract with Cisco Systems in San Jose where I was a BA helping to define the requirements for applying the BOST framework within Cisco. BOST refers to a simplification in the EA views: Business, Operations, Systems (and Data) and Technology.
