Name​: Deborah Curate

My Vision:
As a child I always had a knack for making friends as I grew older my knack for making friends developed into a skill for not just making friends and nurturing relationships, the most important part of my job as a Project Manager is the relationships with the people I work with. Serving the on the PMI Space coast Board gives me a chance to bring this skill and the passion I have for PM work together.
Through-out her 20+ year career, Deb have been resourceful and dedicated Operations Program/Project Manager within the healthcare industry offering an array of skills in collaborative relationships, thought leadership/innovation, team leadership/training, shared services, procedural design, financial oversight, budgets, corporate strategy, and client services.

For 8 years Deb owned and Operated, The VA Solution, a company tailored especially for the fast-paced, Internet-driven style of life and work today, offering expert support in Project Management, Bookkeeping and back office support. Deborah’s company has helped clients service up to 30% more clients; increase product and service offerings by as much as 35%; increase revenue by up to 40% annually.

Deb holds the designation on Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a graduate of the SUNY Empire with a BS in Healthcare Management, She is also a graduate from Westchester Community College’s Academy of Entrepreneurial Excellence.

Name​ Jonathan W. Morgans

My Vision:
Be recognized as the premier source for Project Management Information in the Space Coast area. To continue to be a viable, evolving organization through fully engaged members and developing rich, lasting, and rewarding relationships. Serve to build and retain Chapter sponsorships through, viable networking and offering recognition to further enhance the Project Management profession. To be the preferred provider on the Space Coast for Project Management knowledge base, education and preparation leading to certification of Project Management professionals. Develop and retain relationships with the business community that is looking to add value to their organization.
I’m a 36 year old Iraq War Veteran. I have a wife and three kids. I’m currently enrolled at Florida Institute of Technology in 2 master programs. I graduate in December 2020 with my MBA-Project Management and 2021 with a masters in Civil Engineering- Construction Management.


Nominee Vice-President of Professional Development

Name​ Rhonda Jones, MBA, PMP

My Vision:
My vision for PMI Space Coast would be to continue to provide effective and innovative professional development opportunities, events, and resources to support the project managers in the Space Coast. Professional development has been quite the challenge in 2020, but as a chapter we were able to execute multiple events, networking opportunities, and several virtual PDU options to ensure the chapter was able to continue expanding their knowledge throughout the year. I would like to continue to expand the PMISC community and provide more training, resources and support for the PMI community as we go into 2021.
Rhonda Jones is a Manager of Project Management at Northrop Grumman, managing large software and facilities projects within IT infrastructure. She manages a team of project managers who support software development, data migration, and national security efforts spanning sites across the globe.

Outside of work, she currently serves on the PMI Space Coast board of directors as the VP of Professional Development, which provides professional development opportunities and networking events for the PM industry in the Space Coast. She is also an active member of the Junior League of South Brevard and Women in Defense Space Coast Chapter.

Name​ Paul A. DeNardis

My Vision:
As a past PMISC Director of Member Certification, I see a unique opportunity to leverage my experience and knowledge to bring value to our chapter. My primary goal is to develop and support initiatives designed to generate interest and encourage the professional growth and retention of our chapter members. My immediate value-based goals include:

1. developing a Professional Development education plan and program roadmap

2. promoting the PMP and other PMI certifications and their exam preparation

3. leverage improved strategies and innovations in learning to improve our educational programs

4. improve Project Management practices via networking and information sharing.

A former COBOL/DB2 programmer, I “stumbled” into Project Management at a time when it was not seen as essential. Over the years I have developed a passion for the profession and grown to better understand and communicate its value in building teams and achieving organizational goals. With 30 years of experience in project and program management, I am a forward-thinking servant leader, lifelong learner, Agile enthusiast, and success partner who leverages strong business acumen with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, maximize teams, and deliver quality cost-effective outcomes.
