This year I promise to do what I know should be done. Which is what I tell other people to do when I teach project managements classes.

Dr. David A. Bishop is a technology consultant, enterprise architect, researcher, and instructor with over 25 years of experience working with clients such as AT&T, BellSouth, EDS, Delta Airlines, Toshiba, and government agencies. In addition to this experience, David holds an ABET accredited Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA from DeVry University with a concentration in IT management, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Georgia State University. David is CEO and Founder of Agile Worx (http://www.agile-worx.com), a software development firm that provides program and project management tools based on this research. He is a member and committee chair for the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) based in Geneva Switzerland, a member of ANSI, and a Senior Member of the IEEE and the Association for Computing Machinery. David is also founding chairman for the Atlanta IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society and is chairperson for TEMSCON 2019.
Dr. Bishop is the creator of agile vortex theory which is the result of over five years of intensive practitioner research in some of the world’s most successful organizations. Its focus was to study how these organizations managed both agile and waterfall techniques to outperform their competition in industries with very high technological change, turbulent markets, and innovation.
Lee Barnby served as a Space and Missile Operations Officer in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 2001 with 23 years of service. Since retiring from the military, Lee served as L-3 Communications' Program Manager as a sub to ITT on the Spacelift Range Systems Contract (SLRSC) headquartered at Patrick AFB, FL, with services also provided at Vandenberg AFB, CA. L-3 Communications was primarily responsible for Depot Maintenance, Configuration Management, Data Management services, although they also support SLRSC Engineering. From 2003-2005, Lee worked for SAIC, first in San Diego, CA, then Lorton, VA, as Senior Program Manager and Associate Account Manager to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In these positions, he performed a variety of roles supporting SAIC's Border Protection Systems business. From 2005-2015, Lee served as the Systems Operations and Maintenance Director for InDyne, Inc., in support of West Coast space/missile launches at Vandenberg AFB, CA. He then spent 9 months support InDyne's Business Development Group in Ft Walton Beach, FL, before joining B3 Solutions, LLC, in Melbourne, FL, first as Deputy Program Manager, then as Program Manager. In his current position, he manages a contract providing support to the Dept of State's Office of Aviation, which manages aviation programs in multiple locations around the globe.
Ms. Vyas has many years of experience in Program Management and System Engineering providing mission-critical value to enhance and transform the customer's mission by integrating innovative technologies and solutions. She has interfaced with customers to align goals and objectives to facilitate design and development of products, solutions, and services. Nimisha has an MBA from Rollins College and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
