Hans Meijer, MBA, PMP® , CSM® - VP of Operations PMI South Florida Chapter ❖ A well-rounded, highly experienced, world class, versatile and dynamic executive with leadership skills who can lead every aspect of a Project and Product Management, Business Development, Marketing and Engineering experience in diversified fields including; automobile, banking, construction, energy, franchise, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and wholesale. ❖ A dynamic, team spirited, and results driven senior Level / Executive Management Professional, Consultant and Project Management Trainer with a 25+ year record of verifiable success in significantly increasing growth, profitability and contributing to shareholder value and earnings. ❖ Trained thousands of participants and taught hundreds of Project Management courses for private universities, state colleges including project management training and consulting services to companies in the US, Europe, Caribbean and South America. Has developed content material for project management courses. ❖ As Project Manager for an international bank, was responsible for setting up the multinational headquarter office in South Florida working within the Project Management Office (PMO®). ❖ Organized the Project Management Office for a $15B energy and utility company. The project management services were established to support the Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) and the International Accounting Standard Board (IASB) in anticipation of the Joint Convergence Standards. ❖ Served as Project Manager for a due diligence assessment for a multimillion merger and acquisition project in the insurance industry. ❖ As Project Manager for the PMO® of a Global SOX team for a $200B automotive company, worked with Senior Directors to establish priorities and work plans for the organization’s PMO®. ❖ Senior Project Manager for the construction of a religious campus located on a 20 acre property with a $10M budget for Phase I. Secured construction and long term financing for the project. Coordinated fundraising and capitial campaign efforts with parishioners. ❖ Planned, executed and monitored all of the project phases through the full roll out of the franchise facilities. Project included talent recruitment and training of 15 full time staff members, the purchasing and installation of all machinery and equipment including printing equipment, digital copiers, desktops, telephone system and signage. Responsible for $1M project budget. ❖ Directed and supervised project construction of new 55,000 s/ft. plant facility and installation of a state-of-the-art office furniture processing machines and accessories equipment with total investment of $10 million. Plant was a model facility and one of the best equipped in the Caribbean and Central America.
