We have begun implementing Virtual events that we hope will be a way we can all remain connected. Our first Virtual Happy Hour in April was fun and well attended via Zoom meeting, and our PMP Bootcamp was sold out and delivered remote to our students.
Our next Virtual Happy Hour is May 14th at 5:30 - please see this link to register. We also have a Virtual Dinner Event in the works, and are considering another Virtual PMP Bootcamp this summer. We are excited to have our member Jana Jenkins volunteer to deliver an informative interactive webinar this month.
Details for all of these events are in this newsletter and on our Events page.
Earning PDUs is a necessary aspect of maintaining your PMI certification. To that end, we have instituted a monthly Webinar Spotlight to direct you to webinar content that we think is specifically relevant to the Space Coast and that you can access free of charge.
Does your project team gel well? If not, can you really achieve success? Project success is tough to achieve as complex scope needs to be completed within compressed schedules and tight budgets. Another major challenge is the heterogeneous mix of project teams in terms of Age, Geography, Culture, Ethical outlook, etc. Ignoring cultural differences in teams is a recipe for disaster.
Effective Project Leadership demands investing time in deeply understanding cultural factors, clear communication and complete transparency. This engaging webinar will help you understand key challenges, and walk you through a proven, practical six-step approach used across four continents to lead project teams to success.
