Dear PMI Space Coast Members.  

I hope you continue to be well and safe as the Space Coast continues to endure this pandemic. As a reminder, PMI continues to support its practitioners and members in this time of disruption.  As part of this commitment, I want to remind you that PMI has instituted a Membership Hardship Policy - Unemployed Members with 3 years of good standing membership are qualified for membership hardship grant by calling PMI Customer Care. PMI also offers many additional resources that can be found later in this newsletter.

You should have received your ballot to vote for Board positions this past week. Please take a moment to vote for PMI Space Coast Board members.

When requested, we post job openings on our Career page. Please check this page as we have 1 new job posting. 

We have two upcoming Virtual Networking Events - November 19th and December 17th, both at 6:00 PM. We will continue to host our events virtually due to COVID and concerns for the safety of our members and their families. Please join us for the online trivia game Kahoot - we always have alot of fun playing trivia together! Please pour yourself a drink and plan to play along - we even have a prize for the winner! Earning PDUs is a necessary aspect of maintaining your PMI certification. To that end, we have instituted a monthly Webinar Spotlight to direct you to webinar content that we think is specifically relevant to the Space Coast and that you can access free of charge. This month’s Webinar is "How to Deal with Stressful Projects …. And Survive" Have you ever been faced with a complex, multi-dimensional project and pressure from multiple stakeholders? Is this the normal course of business in your organization? Are you at wits end? Have you ever wondered if you are alone? If so, this webinar is for you. In this session, we will review some of the tools and resources that PMI has to help in ethical decision-making, self-awareness, and review some specific scenarios. Part of a healthy ethical environment on a project is being able to talk about it openly. Let’s discuss and have some fun along the way.
