About Speaker: Josh Garvey, ClearPlan CEO
Joshua Garvey owns and operates ClearPlan, a medium-sized service provider to large federal Aerospace & Defense contractors. He and his family live in Upton, MA. Josh grew up in central MA and received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from UMASS Amherst. Josh spent nearly a decade with Raytheon all over the US, where he worked on many A&D development programs where he became an expert in federal program management. Josh joined Project Planning, Inc. in 2005, a Boston regional management consulting company, to lead growth. PPI was acquired by national federal services provider SM&A in 2007, where Josh took on the challenge to build SM&A’s federal program services division as practice SVP and then General Manager of A&D services. Josh grew program services to $50M in annual revenue from less than $15M annually in 4 years. Josh left SM&A to start ClearPlan in 2013.
ClearPlan, based in Westborough, MA, specializes in providing services to contractors who are pursuing or performing large, federal cost reimbursable programs. Since its founding in 2013, ClearPlan has grown to 200+ employees operating in 30 states. Josh and ClearPlan are active in the NDIA IPM division national chapter and ClearPlan has been affiliated and supported various NDIA organizations since inception. ClearPlan is the US A&D market leader in program planning, scheduling, program control and EVMS services. ClearPlan has the depth and breadth to provide all the services required to get a new entrant to this market EVMS validated by DCMA.
