October 16 Lunch & Learn: Agile Insights - Rethinking Perfect Plans
Join us for a brief discussion about Agile project management and mindset. This overview is designed to give predictive (waterfall) project managers a better understanding of Agile. We will look at a side-by-side comparison of planning in a plan driven project versus an agile project. We will also attempt to answer those age-old questions (at least asked since the 1990’s), why are we always sprinting and why do they call it Scrum?
Objectives:
- Gain a better understanding of agile project management and its legitimate place in the project world.
- Gain a realization that we can’t always build a perfect plan, so what then?
- Takeaway agile concepts for use in predictive (waterfall) projects.
