An Overview of the First Space Visions Symposium

Joe Vandeville will present a summary of the first Space Visions Symposium. The two day Symposium was held in early May and sponsored by CCTS, the Canaveral Council of Technical societies.  The theme was “Large Scale Space Occupancy - What will it take?“. The goal was to look forward up to fifty years into the future with the intent of determining the true magnitude of the problems facing such activity.  Topics will include building very large structures in low earth orbit, 3D printing in microgravity, issues regarding lunar regolith, proliferation of satellites in space and issues in deorbiting the International Space Station.
