AI for PMOs and Project Managers: Past, Present, and Future

AI for PMOs and Project Managers: Past, Present, and Future

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way projects and PMOs operate. This session provides project professionals with a practical understanding of where AI has come from, how it is being used today in project environments, and where it is heading next.

Attendees will learn how AI is already helping PMs and PMOs improve reporting, streamline administrative work, strengthen governance, identify risks earlier, and support better decision-making across agile, hybrid, and waterfall environments. The presentation also introduces the PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI (CPMAI™) methodology as a structured framework for responsible AI adoption.

The session concludes with a forward-looking discussion on AI agents, autonomous work, and how the role of the project manager is evolving in the age of AI.
