November Lunch and Learn: Leadership in the Midst of Chaos

Power Skills

Project Managers have an innate ability to organize what others view as chaos and ambiguity. PM’s do it so well, it’s one of the hallmarks of our profession. What happens when the chaos begins to feel too big for even a seasoned PM, and how do you lead your team? Join Taylor Acton in a discussion, Leadership Amidst Chaos. We’ll talk about our rapidly changing environment, how unscripted leadership builds trust, and revisit how PMI methodology continues to support us in the most chaotic of times.

Taylor has spent her entire career leading teams and organizing chaos. With a degree in communication and a strategically quick mind, she gravitates towards challenges and complex work. Taylor’s personal mission is to transform the healthcare system. She has spent the last eleven years at Optum. Taylor is a Sr. Product Manager and part of a transformational team delivering a new product called Optum Guide. The product simplifies the complexities of healthcare with a single call, email, or chat. Previously at Optum, Taylor served in traditional program and project management roles supporting internal and external facing clients. Before Optum, Taylor spent 7 years protecting the integrity of the WebMD brand by leading several innovative, consumer facing projects.
