Please join us for an engaging presentation "Why Electric Vehicles?" by Douglas Imberman, a Customer Success Manager at General Motors.  We will explore the growing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).

This presentation will cover the different types of EVs, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), highlighting their unique features and benefits. The presentation touches on leadership by discussing the significant role of government initiatives, such as the EV Acceleration Challenge and EPA National Pollution Standards, in promoting the transition to electric vehicles. Additionally, it emphasizes the economic and environmental benefits of EVs, projecting annual savings of $100 billion and substantial reductions in carbon emissions by 2055. The presentation concludes with an overview of EV charging infrastructure, detailing home, workplace, and public charging options, different connector types, and charging speeds, thus providing a comprehensive understanding of the current and future landscape of electric vehicles.
